Team Millhan suffered its second injury in the last few days. Ezra Pursley has gone down, bitten by the injury bug. He joins recently injured Shelley Sage, who is expected to return on August 9th. Pursley is out until August 15th. With only nine riders currently on Team Millhan and upcoming races already scheduled the team will be forced to race without two of its better teammates.
When asked Cong Yutao had this to say. "It will be tough to perform the way we know is expected of us. The team will be forced to race on short rest."
Richard Pinson, new to Team Millhan said, "The recent injuries have put the strain on all of us. The team will miss the strong rides that Shelley and Ezra bring to the course each time they race."
When asked if the team will take a break from races and focus on training team manager Deac Mill said, "No. To be honest we don't have the funds needed right now to send our riders to training camp to help them improve their skills. We will hope that the team is able to get a few good results and maybe even a win. Its going to be tough."
Team Millhan will be riding in the Malauce - Mount Ventoux race. Race captain Richard Pinson hopes that he can anchor the team and with a strong ride from Carlton Speers and Cong Yutao they can pull of the win.
